Catch the mistake before the concrete does.

Exaktera laser projectors project embedded parts, reinforcement, recesses and edges directly onto the formwork bed, replacing manual measuring and marking. Every element is set up correctly before casting, even on curved formwork, and LED lighting helps inspect the finished elements for chips and cracks.

The Challenge

Every element is different.

In precast production, the formwork changes from one element to the next, so every setup takes time. Embedded parts and reinforcement can easily end up out of position, and measuring and marking by hand takes significant effort. Single-piece and small-batch production needs a flexibility that traditional methods struggle to offer, and curved or free-form geometries make the job harder still. Exaktera laser and LED solutions support every stage, from formwork positioning and curved elements to final quality inspection.

Formwork positioning

Position the formwork once. Cast it correctly.

Exaktera lasers and projectors project the positions of embedded parts, reinforcement, recesses and edge boundaries directly onto the formwork bed before casting. A projected template replaces manual measurement at every bed setup. Your team sets the formwork, embedded parts and reinforcement to the projected lines, then pours.

Reworking an incorrectly cast element is expensive and slow, and sometimes it isn’t possible at all. Projecting the layout at setup catches errors while they can still be fixed, before the concrete is poured rather than after it has cured. In continuous flow systems, projectors guide each work step from formwork to reinforcement. This reduces production errors and speeds up the whole production chain.

Curved elements

Complex and architectural shapes with less effort.

On curved formwork, laser projection shows exactly where each part and edge belongs, even on surfaces that are hard to measure by hand. Complex designs and architectural elements are built accurately, with fewer errors and in less time. This makes unique, visually demanding concrete elements easier to produce.

Quality inspection

LED lighting that reveals chips and cracks.

High-intensity Exaktera LED lighting supports both visual and automated inspection of precast elements. It helps reveal chips, cracks and structural inconsistencies before elements leave the plant. The dust- and debris-proof housings are built for the conditions of a precast factory.
