Faster curing. Sharper inspection. Reduced defects.
Exaktera supplies the LED lighting, UV LED curing systems and laser modules that keep print and packaging lines running at speed, from registration and colour to barcodes, labels and seals.
Print and barcode inspection at full production speed
On press, Exaktera LED lighting delivers stable, colour-consistent light across the full press width. That keeps colour measurement, registration checks and print quality inspection repeatable from the start of a run to the end. Strobe synchronisation matched to press speed gives sharp images from makeready through to full production, with no need to adjust the lighting at each speed change.
On production and packaging lines, the same strobed LED platform supports barcode reading and grading, with the lighting angle chosen to suit the substrate and print process. For currency and security printing, multispectral, hyperspectral, UV and IR lighting help verify microprinting, watermarks, holograms, security threads and fluorescent inks.

Carton geometry, seal inspection and dimensional verification.
Exaktera’s structured light lasers add height information to packaging inspection. Paired with the camera in your vision system, they let you measure carton flap geometry, seal height and pack dimensions without interrupting the line. Seal problems that look flat under standard lighting show up clearly as height changes under structured light. For glossy plastic packs, our diffuse, dome and coaxial lights produce glare-free images, while our bright-field ring and bar lights suit matte cartons, labels and outer wraps.
Checking pack dimensions at full line speed confirms that each finished pack meets its shipping and retail specification. Overfilled cartons that won’t close, underfilled packs, and shape deviations that would cause handling problems downstream are caught before they reach distribution.

UV LED curing and adhesive inspection for print, packaging and 3D printing.
Exaktera UV LED curing lamps give fast, uniform curing of inks, coatings and adhesives in digital, flexographic and screen printing, and cure polymers and resins in SLA, DLP and industrial 3D printing. They are mercury-free and use less energy than conventional lamps. Infrared sources support conductive ink sintering for printed electronics.
High-power UV lighting combined with optical filters makes transparent, fluorescent adhesives, sealants and coatings visible, so gaps, bubbles and uneven application can be detected.

Our application engineers work across print and packaging, from high-speed inkjet through flexible film to corrugated board. Tell us the inspection task and the press or line environment.
