Line it up right. Cut it once.
Exaktera line lasers and laser projectors put cutting lines, contours and suction cup positions directly onto stone, glass and ceramics. Material is placed right the first time, every time.
Expensive materials and little room for error.
In stone, glass and ceramics, a single misaligned cut can scrap a granite or marble slab worth more than the job’s margin. Manual measuring and chalk lines are slow, and because the result depends on the operator, it’s hard to repeat. Large, heavy or glossy workpieces are difficult to position precisely by eye, while every format change brings new templates, new measurements and more machine downtime. Measuring by hand near blades, shards and slurry also puts operators at risk. The answer is to take the guesswork out of alignment by putting a precise, visible line on the material before the blade ever touches it.

Laser lines that follow the saw.
Mounted on the bridge, an Exaktera line laser marks the exact cutting edge of the blade and travels with the bridge as it moves. Operators can align the slab before the first cut. If you mount the module on the saw head instead, the line stays true to the blade even when the disc tilts for mitre cuts.
On tile cutters, the projected line shows the planned path, so operators can nest cuts, reduce offcuts and set up faster. Red and green line versions are available, and green stays clearly visible under bright shop lighting and on dark or polished stone.

Your CAD file, projected at 1:1 scale.
Exaktera laser projectors project contours, cut lines and drill points directly from 2D and 3D design data onto the workpiece. This works for kitchen worktops, vanities, washbasins and stair treads. On CNC machines, the projection also shows exactly where to place the vacuum suction cups for each part shape.
When the format changes, the operator loads a new file instead of building a new template or re-measuring. To cover large workpieces, you can link multiple units together. Cross lasers mark the zero point and drilling positions on glass and ceramic parts

Detecting cracks and chiped edges before they ship
Exaktera machine vision lasers help vision systems detect cracks and edge defects in stone, glass and ceramic parts for reliable quality control. Exaktera LED lighting complements laser-based inspection, helping cameras identify imperfections and material inconsistencies on glass, ceramic and stone surfaces.

Our application engineers work with stone processors, worktop fabricators, tile and glass manufacturers, and machine builders on cutting guidance, positioning and inspection. Where a standard module doesn’t fit your machine, we can build one to your specification. Tell us about the material and your production challenge.
