About the 3D PRO Fixed Focus
Introduction
3D PRO Fixed Focus is the same uniform line as the adjustable version, with the focus set during manufacture to your working distance.
Fixing it buys three things: 75 mm instead of 89.5, 45 g instead of 48, and IP56 instead of IP54 — because a focus ring is a moving joint, and a moving joint is where water gets in.
Specify the working distance
Because focus is set in manufacture, the working distance is part of the order, not a commissioning step. Getting it wrong means a new module rather than an adjustment.
Where it fits
Choose this over 3D PRO Adjustable Focus when the distance is known and the installation is wet or dusty. 3D PRO Mini goes smaller again at 12 g, with tighter boresight but far less power.
