About the AI-AL116-W
The AL116 is a high dispersion wide bar light for machine vision applications that are sensitive to harsh shadows and specular reflections. Its extrusion-based aluminium housing scales across the length range while holding structural rigidity, so a long light stays straight and keeps its alignment on a frame.
The AL116 carries twice the LED count of the narrower AL126 in a 32.2 by 20.0 mm profile, giving more intensity across a wider area. Its diffuse output suits close working distances, with no intensity hotspots on the target. Lengths run 80.1 to 537.2 mm, and an M4 mounting nut channel on the base allows position to be adjusted anywhere along the run.
Thirteen wavelengths are available from 365 to 940 nm plus white, with a diffuser or polarizer for further control. Weight is about 852 g per 4 inch of length. The AL116 range is rated for 25 to 60 degrees C case and 0 to 35 degrees C ambient, carries CE, RoHS and IEC 62471, holds L70 at 50,000 hours on white, and is offered unsealed or at IP65.
