About the AI-BL193-W
The BL193 Series is a standard intensity linear backlight for machine vision work that needs uniform diffuse illumination without high output. Standard intensity industrial grade LEDs hold the price down, which makes the series practical where several backlights are needed on one machine.
The extrusion-based aluminium housing scales in 1 in increments up to 80 in, giving 80 size configurations, so the emitting area matches the part without a custom build. Lengths run 47.2 mm to 2053.8 mm at 30.0 mm wide and 33.8 mm high, and an M6 mounting channel on the underside allows the position to be set after installation.
Optional overdrive strobe capability gives short bursts of increased intensity when a fast-moving part needs freezing, so the lower standard output does not rule out moving product. Standard units weigh around 458 g per 12 in of length, white light lumen maintenance is L70 at 50,000 hours, and the housing is rated IP50. The BL193 range covers white, 470 nm, 520 nm, 660 nm and 880 nm. It is a legacy field-proven design.
