About the PPX-COBRA-FX2-395
The COBRA Cure FX2 is a compact UV LED curing system with IntelliSense smart sensing technology, for curing inks, coatings and adhesives, pinning inks and 3D printing. A field replaceable window keeps output consistent over the life of the system, and it needs no special tools, so a contaminated window is changed at the machine with minimal downtime.
The cold cure LED output suits heat sensitive substrates that a mercury lamp would damage, and with no ozone and no mercury the system removes the extraction and disposal burden that comes with traditional UV. Edge to edge illumination gives no drop in intensity at the edges, so lamps butt together to cover a wider web.
Monitoring and driving each LED segment gives excellent intensity control, and the system delivers up to 8.4 W/cm2 or a dose of up to 17.5 J/cm2 at 10 mm per second, with a 20,000 hour lifetime and instant on/off. The COBRA Cure FX2 range covers 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm plus multi-wavelength options, with a choice of optical configurations.
