Overview
COBRA Max is the brightest light in the COBRA line-scan family. It delivers extreme continuous intensity and strong uniformity from the same slim, compact body as the rest of the range — built for line-scan applications where the exposure is short and the line still has to be bright.
The headline is intensity: it puts more continuous light on the line than the standard COBRA heads, and when combined with COBRA's strobe capability it reaches far higher still for very short, very bright pulses. Uniformity holds across the line, which is what keeps a line-scan image even at speed.
It is the head to reach for on the most demanding, fastest lines — where you have run out of light with a standard head. If the application does not need that much intensity, a standard COBRA line light is the leaner, more economical choice; COBRA Max earns its place at the top of the range.
