COBRA™ MultiSpec Line Light

The COBRA MultiSpec is a multispectral LED line light delivering tunable illumination for multispectral imaging, food sorting and grading, material inspection and recycling. Discrete control of each wavelength through a graphical interface chooses the spectral profile, putting more intensity where the contrast is.

The RGB-SWIR configuration combines high powered RGB light with dedicated SWIR wavelengths in a single line light, which removes a second light head and its alignment from the system. RGB, RGB-IR at 855 nm and RGB-White at 3500 K are also standard, and up to 12 wavelengths can be configured.

On-board strobe capability fires all strobe lines together or up to four wavelength groups in sequence, with a total delay and response time profile under one microsecond, so a multispectral exposure sequence keeps up with the line. Chip-on-Board LED technology gives extreme brightness and high uniformity, with typical maximum irradiance of 1960 W/m2 in blue and green on the RGB build. The COBRA MultiSpec is modular up to 6 m with integrated strobe and Ethernet control, input power monitoring and error detection.
