COBRA™ Slim Line Light

Overview

COBRA Slim is the workhorse of the COBRA line-scan range. It uses Chip-on-Board LED arrays to deliver extreme brightness and even uniformity in any wavelength, in a compact, modular body built for high-speed line-scan and web inspection.

Chip-on-Board packs the emitters tightly, which is what gives a slim line light both the brightness and the uniformity a fast line-scan camera needs — the line stays even across its length, so the image does not band. A field-adjustable lens lets you set the focus where the working distance falls, and the modular design lets the light scale in length.

Optional strobing pushes the peak intensity higher for the shortest exposures, and any wavelength can be specified to match the contrast the inspection depends on. It is the default choice across most high-speed web and line-scan work; step up to the brightest head when you run out of light, or to the compact head when you run out of space.
