COBRA™ Slim UVC Line Light

Overview

COBRA Slim UVC takes the COBRA Slim platform into the UV-C band. It delivers highly uniform UV-C light along the line, which is what makes it useful for both inspection under UV and inline surface sterilisation — pharmaceutical packaging, food surfaces and similar processes.

UV-C is the germicidal band, so a uniform UV-C line is a tool for disinfecting a moving surface as it passes, as well as for imaging features that only fluoresce or absorb in the ultraviolet. Building it on the COBRA Slim platform means it inherits the same even, modular line the visible heads are known for.

It is available across UV-C and into the UV-B wavelengths, so the output can be matched to the process — sterilisation or inspection. This is a specialist head: for visible or near-infrared line-scan work, the standard COBRA Slim is the right choice, and UV-C handling and safety belong in the integration plan.
