About the MatchBox 2 CW
The CW Lasers are continuous wave modules from the innovative MatchBox 2 Series, integrating optics, electronics and mechanics into a compact, complete package of just 30 x 50 x 16mm for spectroscopy, medical diagnostics, scanning microscopy, food sorting and flow cytometry. Over 150 configurations are already available across more than 20 wavelengths, and operation at +5VDC suits handheld portable devices.
TEC thermal stabilization with thermal and optical feedback ensures long-term power stability, while wavelength stabilization gives a superior centre wavelength tolerance, with some tunability through the inbuilt TEC. Multi-longitudinal mode and single-longitudinal-mode versions are both offered, with free-space output or multi-mode, single-mode and polarization-maintaining fiber, and USB communication for easy computer control.
Narrow spectrum models cover 405nm to 1030nm with output powers from 20mW to 300mW. Broad spectrum models extend to 1319nm and to 500mW, with power stability as tight as 0.2% RMS over 8 hours, noise from 0.25% RMS and effective M2 from 1.1.
