About the AI-DF198-W
The DF198 Series is a diffuse ring light for surface inspection where contrast comes from surface topography. Four opposing M4 mounting points let the head be positioned and angled in the machine frame without an adapter plate, and a curved diffuser spreads the output across a wide band of angles, keeping hot spots off reflective surfaces.
Five light diameters cover 50.00 mm to 280.0 mm outside and 31.6 mm to 254.3 mm inside, so the series fits a compact lens or clears large optics. Set closer than its own diameter the head gives low angle dark field illumination, and set further away the same head gives diffuse bright field, so one light covers two geometries.
Heights of 14.1 mm to 15.7 mm keep the ring shallow enough to sit close to the camera, and weights of 63 g to 358 g suit robot mounting. The anodised aluminium housing is rated IP40 and certified to CE, RoHS and IEC 62471. The DF198 range offers white, 455 nm, 530 nm and 625 nm plus an RGB build for multi-channel controllers.
