About the AI-DL225-W
The DL225 Series is a range of square on-axis illuminators for area scan inspection, such as wafer surface inspection and other work where differential reflection from the target is the signal. Extensive thermal modelling and a high-efficiency heat sinking system optimise light output while protecting the LEDs, so intensity holds without shortening life.
Five sizes run from 105.8 mm by 35.7 mm up to 231.3 mm by 163.4 mm at weights of 158 g to 2894 g, so the illuminator matches the field of view without over-lighting the part. Multiple M6 mounting points on the end allow adjustable positioning in the frame.
High-performance optical components with a glass beam splitter put a directed sheet of light along the camera axis, giving the even return that on-axis inspection depends on, and white light lumen maintenance is L70 at 50,000 hours. The DL225 range covers white and twelve wavelengths from 365 nm to 940 nm, is rated IP50 and is certified to CE, RoHS and IEC 62471. Cable inline and external controllers are available.
