About the Laser Enclosure
The Laser Enclosure protects cylindrical lasers and cameras of 19 to 20 mm diameter on triangulation and profile measurement stations. The internal mount clamps the barrel along its length and conducts heat into the enclosure body, which holds the laser at a steady temperature so wavelength and line geometry stay consistent.
Three lengths at 120, 150 and 180 mm accommodate different laser bodies and focusing optics, with a 25 mm extension for easy lens access where a longer working section is needed. The enclosure adapts to 30 and 40 mm dovetails, so it clamps to standard machine extrusion and can be slid along the rail to set standoff.
Rated IP66, it withstands jetting water in wash-down and outdoor positions. The Laser Enclosure range offers BK7 windows for wavelengths to 2500 nm and sapphire windows to 7 um, a water cooling option for high ambient temperatures, and an air nozzle option to keep the window clear of dust and spray.
