LBL400 Long Bar Light

Introduction

A sealed 400 mm red line bar for wide, fast product.

The LBL400 is the long sealed line light: 400 mm of even, red 625 nm illumination rated to IP67, built to light a wide moving field for line-scan inspection. Red at high strobe output suits the fast, wide web where contrast and speed matter — wide sheet, metal and solar-cell inspection where the whole width has to be read in one pass.

Sealed, uniform, and long

The LBL400 does one job well: an even strip of red light across a wide field, sealed against a harsh line. IP67 takes it into the wet, dusty conditions of sheet-metal and solar-cell lines, and the design holds uniformity across its full 400 mm so a line-scan camera reads the same signal edge to edge. Peak output reaches 600 kLux in strobe, freezing wide product moving at speed, and it runs on a standard 24 V DC supply across -10 to +50 °C.

Red at 625 nm is a deliberate choice for these tasks: it gives strong contrast on metal and silicon surfaces and pairs well with monochrome line-scan sensors.

Applications

Wide-field line-scan inspection on moving product — wide web, sheet-metal and solar-cell inspection, and surface and code reading across a broad, fast line.

Where it fits

The LBL400 is the longer of the sealed LBL line bars; the LBL200 covers a narrower field at the same IP67 sealing. Where the read is across a wide web and the environment is harsh, this is the fit.
