About the LMX-LGCB3020-V02

Overview

This is a mid-size head in the LUMIMAX LightGuide area-light range. It uses the same LightGuide technology as the rest of the family — LEDs edge-coupled into a light guide for a homogeneous, collimated field — over a larger active area than the entry size, with a camera hole through the centre.

Its collimated, even light suits flat, directional area inspection: parallel rays keep illumination and shadows consistent across the whole field, and the built-in controller runs it continuously or switched from TTL or PLC triggers with brightness set by potentiometer or analogue input.

The larger active area is the reason to choose it over the entry head — it covers a wider part in one field. Match the head to the part you need to illuminate; for still larger fields, the largest head in the family goes further, and for curved specular surfaces a dome is the right tool instead.
