About the LMX-LGCB4030-V02

Overview

This is the large head in the LUMIMAX LightGuide area-light range. It brings the family's homogeneous, collimated light — LEDs edge-coupled into a light guide — to the widest field in the range, with a camera hole through the centre for an on-axis view.

The wide active area is what it is for: covering a large flat part in a single, even, directional field, with parallel rays keeping illumination and shadows consistent from edge to edge. A built-in controller runs it continuously or switched from TTL or PLC triggers, with brightness set by potentiometer or analogue input.

It is the top of the LightGuide family by field size; drop to the smaller heads for smaller parts to avoid over-lighting and wasted footprint. As with every area light it is a flat, directional tool — a dome remains the answer for curved, specular surfaces.
