About the AI-LL158-W
The LL158 is an oblique line light for detecting features that run parallel to the line direction, such as scratches in sheet steel on continuous-feed conveyors. A 30 degree light angle of incidence within the plane of the housing creates contrast from those surfaces, which a standard linescan light leaves flat.
Lengths run 209.3 mm to 2342.9 mm in 6 in increments at 50.2 mm wide and 91.7 mm high, in the same housing as the LL137 and LL167, so a line can mix oblique and standard heads on one fixture design. An M6 mounting channel on the base allows the position and angle to be set after installation.
An embedded controller handles powering and control with no external or inline controller, and high power industrial grade LEDs run continuously with white light lumen maintenance of L70 at 50,000 hours. A narrow 12 degree lens keeps the light concentrated along the line. Standard units weigh around 898 g per 8 in of length. The LL158 range covers white, 470 nm blue, 530 nm green and 625 nm red, rated IP50.
