About the MatchBox Combiner
The MatchBox Combiner brings up to four diode wavelengths together in one standard MatchBox housing measuring just 30 x 50 x 16mm, with output to multi-mode fiber or free space. A classical diode and mirror combining technique with proprietary micro-optics makes the system alignment-free, and individual wavelengths are controlled through a single, easy to use PC interface covering all four lasers.
Multiplexing electronics and a bi-directional TEC give hands-free operation with a fast warm up time, and the optics are thermally stabilized inside the housing. Integrated precision driver electronics keep noise low and operation stable over a broad temperature range, and the standard footprint is compatible with all MatchBox accessories.
Configurations include 405nm, 445nm, 455nm, 488nm, 520nm and 638nm, at output powers from 25mW to 130mW per wavelength. Spectral line width is under 1.5nm FWHM, noise under 1% RMS and effective M2 under 1.5, with power stability of 0.2% RMS over 8 hours on the free-space versions, which run TEM00 at a polarization contrast of 1:100.

Device use in the final product may alter its classification; OEM is responsible for compliance with relevant standards (EN 60825). Recommends an additional electrically insulated heatsink (≥35 sq. cm) with thermal transfer paste; do not restrict air circulation.
