About the LMX-MLCB

The MLCB is the camera-hole form of the modular LUMIMAX ML panel light, the configuration that turns a large area light into a flat dome for reflected light work. The free diameter is 35 mm, 50 mm or 75 mm, centred as standard, with the number and position individually designable, so a multi-camera station is served by one panel.

Panels are built from 50 by 50 mm light field modules, so light areas from 50 by 250 mm upwards are reached in rectangular, square or elongated shapes with no development cost. The field is homogeneous and highly diffuse, which suits reflective and uneven surfaces.

Maximum irradiance at 0 mm working distance is 193 W/m2 continuous and 1600 W/m2 flashed in red, giving headroom for short exposures, with larger module counts scaling down. Integrated or housing-mounted controllers give continuous, switch or strobe operation with flash times from 10 to 750 microseconds on 19 to 30 V DC. The MLCB range covers red at 625 nm, infrared at 850 nm and white at 5700 K, at protection class IP40.
