About the IO Nanosecond

The Nanosecond Laser Modules from Integrated Optics are passively Q-switched modules built on the same MatchBox 2 platform as the CW Lasers range, ideal as an OEM source for spectroscopy, range finding, micromachining, LIDAR, flow cytometry, sorting and Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy. Intelligent power electronics, USB power and control and intelligent monitoring are all part of this compact, self-contained package.

Output is at 514.5nm or 1029nm with single-longitudinal-mode operation, extremely stable harmonic generation and very low jitter ensuring consistency of results. At 1029nm, pulse energy reaches 100uJ at a 1.5kHz repetition rate and 1ns pulse duration, while higher repetition rate builds trade energy for rate, up to 35kHz at 20uJ, 3.6ns and 700mW. The 514.5nm configurations deliver 25uJ at 5kHz to 6uJ at 35kHz, at 130mW to 200mW.

Power stability is 0.5% RMS over 8 hours, pulse-to-pulse stability 2% and effective M2 under 1.5. Free space, SM fiber, PM fiber and SMA port outputs are offered, with optional isolators, fiber terminations and clean-up, long-pass or short-pass filters.
