About the Piranha
The Piranha is a hygienic stainless steel enclosure for cylindrical lasers and cameras of 19 to 20 mm diameter on food and pharmaceutical lines. The V4A AISI 316L body carries IP69K protection with the hygienic cable gland fitted, so the laser survives high-pressure hot water cleaning alongside the equipment it inspects.
At 40 mm diameter and 176.6 mm long, the Piranha is slim enough to mount inside a hygienic T-piece, and its 120 mm internal length lets the laser sit close behind the window for a tight, well-defined line. The front lid lifts off for focus adjustment, so the line can be set without removing the enclosure from the frame.
Weight is 650 g with the hygienic cable gland, and a snap ring holds the 20 mm window for quick exchange. The Piranha range offers BK7, sapphire and acrylic windows, a standard V4A cable gland rated IP68 with a 16 mm bore, and the Hygienic Building Kit for a fully sealed tube and cable run.
