RL2115 Compact Aimed Dark Field Ring

The RL2115 is a compact aimed dark field ring light for surface defect inspection in tight installations. Dark field geometry brings the light onto the surface at a low angle, so scratches, engraving and edges scatter light into the lens while the surround stays dark and defects stand out before any image processing.

At 57.2 g the head mounts on a moving axis or inside a guard where larger aimed dark field models will not fit. Precisely aimed LEDs give a specific and repeatable light pattern on the imaging plane, so contrast is consistent between parts and between stations.

The 625 nm, 660 nm and 880 nm builds draw 0.09 A at 24 V and the shorter wavelength and white builds draw 0.06 A, keeping demand low enough for a shared supply. A 2 m cable with a 105 degrees C rated PVC jacket and foil shield resists heat and electrical noise. The RL2115 range spans the ultraviolet to the infrared, operates from 0 to 60 degrees C, and holds L70 lumen maintenance at 50,000 hours.
