RL36120 Large Aimed Bright Field Ring

The RL31620, published by Advanced Illumination as the RL36120, is a large aimed bright field ring light for inspecting wide, flat parts. Four M4 mounting screws hold the 126.5 mm head, and an optional mounting ring gives a fixed reference when the light has to be repositioned between changeovers.

A 55.5 mm inner diameter accommodates lenses up to 55 mm in diameter, so large format and telecentric optics look straight through the ring. Precisely aimed LEDs direct the light along the viewing axis with a level of control conventional illuminators cannot match, giving an even field from a flat surface and consistent readings across the whole inspection area.

Standoff and field of view are customised at order time, so the light is delivered matched to the station geometry. The head is 33.8 mm deep and weighs 312.1 g in the standard mounting option, is rated IP40 and holds L70 lumen maintenance at 50,000 hours. The RL31620 range spans the ultraviolet to the infrared plus a 3-channel RGB version for multi-channel controllers, with diffuser and polarizer options.
