About the AI-SL112-W
The SL112 is a medium intensity spot and coaxial light built to replace fibre-optic light sources in internal coaxial illumination. Side cable entry keeps the overall length short, so the unit fits behind a lens where an end-entry source would not clear the housing.
At 25.4 mm in diameter and 55.7 mm long the SL112 suits space-restricted stations and close working distances, and at 40 g it adds almost nothing to a moving assembly. Optional couplers are available for Dolan-Jenner, Fostec and Moritex fibre bundles, so existing fibre optics can be driven from the new source without replacing the bundle.
Cable inline and external controllers are both available, giving dimming and switching control from the machine. White light lumen maintenance is L70 at 50,000 hours for stable output, and the anodised aluminium housing with acrylic window is rated IP50 and certified to CE, RoHS and IEC 62471. The SL112 range covers white, 470 nm, 530 nm, 590 nm and 625 nm. It is a legacy product.
