About the AI-SL164-W
The SL164 is a compact high intensity spot light for off-axis inspection at medium working distances in tight installations. A "24" model option carries an embedded controller, which removes the external or inline controller and makes the light practical on robots where space and cable routing are restricted.
The barrel is 31.8 mm in diameter and 61.1 mm long at 81 g, small enough for crowded stations and light enough for a moving axis, and four opposing rear M3 mounting points hold it securely. Narrow 19 degree, medium 30 degree and wide 42 degree lenses set the pattern size, so one head covers a range of fields of view and working distances.
Sixteen wavelength choices from 365 nm ultraviolet to 940 nm near-infrared make one housing serve many inspection tasks. The anodised aluminium housing with polycarbonate window is rated IP64 for splash and dust exposure and certified to CE, RoHS and IEC 62471, with white light lumen maintenance of L70 at 50,000 hours. A diffuser is available as a light conditioning option.
