About the AI-SL223-W
The SL223 is a MicroBrite spot and coaxial light built to replace fibre-optic light sources in internal coaxial work and in close external off-axis applications. At 9.4 mm in diameter and 13 g it fits inside lens assemblies and tight sensor housings where no conventional light source will go.
The barrel is 73.7 mm long and carries an internal secondary focusing lens, which tightens the fan angle and makes the light usable externally at short working distances as well as coaxially. A standard 8 mm nose diameter is fitted, with a 10 mm option specified at time of order to match the bore it mounts into.
Sixteen wavelength choices from 365 nm ultraviolet to 940 nm near-infrared make one housing serve many inspection tasks, and white light lumen maintenance of L70 at 50,000 hours keeps output stable. The anodised aluminium body with acrylic window and silicone sealant is rated IP65 and certified to CE, RoHS and IEC 62471. Optional couplers are available for Dolan-Jenner, Fostec and Moritex fibre bundles, with cable inline and external controllers.
