About the LMX-SPOT3W
The Spot3W is the 3 W power class of the LUMIMAX high power LED spot lights, a compact single-LED unit with a 14 mm light area for targeted machine vision illumination. The lens in front of the LED is exchangeable, so a tight beam angle lights an object metres away and a broad angle gives homogeneous light at short range.
The anodised aluminium housing measures 74 mm by 43 mm by 35 mm at 200 g and is rated IP64, compact enough for a crowded station and sealed against splash and dust. A filter thread takes polarisation filters or bandpass filters for fluorescence work, and a C-Mount connector accepts focusing lenses.
A representative red article gives 140 W/m2 at 0.2 m at 3 W and 0.20 A from a 19 to 30 V DC input, with an integrated controller for continuous and switching mode, so no control box is needed. The Spot3W range runs to 41 articles from 365 nm ultraviolet to 850 nm infrared plus three white colour temperatures, with lenses from 10 to 49 degrees.
