About the PPX-UVCPRO
The UVC-Pro LED Area Light is a compact 265 nm UVC area light for machine vision, fluorescence and disinfection work, aimed at system designers building inspection and verification stations. A stackable form factor means several units butt together to cover a wider area, so the illuminated field grows without a custom light.
Uniform light distribution gives even illumination across the surface, which matters where a fluorescence signal has to be compared from one side of the field to the other. The compact design integrates easily into existing systems.
Operating at 265 nm with intensity up to 35 mW/cm2, the UVC-Pro gives the output needed to excite fluorescent markers and coatings reliably. LED technology removes the mercury lamp, which makes the light safer, longer-lasting and easier to dispose of. Applications include pharmaceutical and chemical analysis, defect detection, verification of coatings, adhesives and other fluorescent markers, quality control, sorting and packaging verification.
