About the ZAT Module

Where a positioning laser has to move between machines or sit on equipment with no spare power feed, the ZAT runs from its own cell. The laser is built into a stable nickel-plated brass housing with the AA battery or rechargeable cell directly under a screw cap, and a small button at the end of the body switches it on and off.

Retrofitting to a mitre saw, a rung drilling machine or a tile cutter therefore needs no wiring. Three optics are catalogued: a Gaussian line at a 90 degree fan angle, an elliptical dot, and a DOE cross, all fixed focused at up to 2000 mm, which suits mobile use in the wood, stone and metal industries.

Output at 635 nm is specified from 1 to 5 mW, with laser class 1M, 2 or 2M depending on the version ordered. Power is a 1.5 VDC AA battery or a 1.2 VDC rechargeable, neither included. The housing is 124 mm long and 20 mm in diameter, weighs 162 g and is rated IP40 from -10 to +40 degrees C.
