ZKV Module

The ZKV uses a rotating mirror to project highly visible red or green circles onto a work surface for applications like barrel construction and wooden cable drum production, replacing the physical templates those jobs need. The rotating mirror spins a point laser to draw the circle, and a wired joystick remote control sets the diameter, so a change of product size needs no new template.

A variable 15 to 70 degree fan angle is what makes the diameter adjustable. Mounted 1000 mm above the surface the circle runs from 270 mm to 1400 mm; at 500 mm it covers 135 mm to 700 mm and at 4000 mm it reaches 1080 mm to 5600 mm, allowing one unit to serve a whole product range. An optional red cross in the centre marks the axis.

Both wavelengths, 515 nm green and 635 nm red, are at 15 mW rated laser class 2M. The maintenance-free aluminium body measures 150 mm in diameter by 345 mm and is rated IP65 for workshop conditions, running from an AC/DC adapter on 100 to 230 VAC with a Euro or US plug.
