ZLP Highpower

The ZLP2-HighPower is a laser projector for the concrete industry, aerospace and wind turbine rotor blade production, where the projection has to stay visible in bright ambient light or from a high mounting point. A more powerful fiber-coupled green source carries the line at those distances, at laser class 3R.

Adjustable focus covers a recommended working distance of up to 20 m and working areas up to 10 by 10 m, so one unit reaches across a mould or a formwork bay from a gantry. A recommended 76 by 60 degree projection angle, up to 80 by 60 degrees, sets how much of that area one projector covers.

Accuracy is better than 0.1 mm per metre, holding a recess or a ply edge within tolerance at full distance. The 500 by 200 by 141 mm housing weighs 6.6 kg, is rated IP65 and runs from 0 to +50 degrees C on 24 V DC at 50 W typical. Key components are customer-replaceable in under an hour, and control comes through ZLP-Suite, an API or a Siemens S7 PLC.
