About the ZLP2
The ZLP2 is a laser projector for wood and stone processing, CNC work, composite lay-up, automotive, train and ship building. Its fiber-coupled green laser source gives the beam quality that holds a fine line on a curved or textured 3D surface, where the operator works to the projected edge.
Focusable optics cover a recommended working distance of 0.5 to 7 m, so one projector serves a small jig or a full lay-up table. A recommended 76 by 76 degree projection angle, up to 80 by 80 degrees, opens a working area of 10,938 by 10,938 mm at 7 m, letting several units combine into a multi-projector system.
The ZLP2 is accurate to 0.25 mm per metre and is eye-safe at laser class 2M. The 500 by 200 by 141 mm body weighs 6.6 kg and is rated IP65 for dusty workshop air, running on 24 V DC at 50 W typical. Control comes through ZLP-Suite, an API with C++, C#, Rust and Python SDKs, or a Siemens S7 PLC, with Step, IGES, DXF, PLY and HPGL input.
