ZM18 Module

Positioning work in production machinery comes down to a visible, straight reference mark, and the ZM18-Positioning module is the family variant aimed at that job. Its sensor-style head shares a mounting envelope with the rest of the ZM18 range, so an existing installation can be re-specified without redesign, and more than 1,000 configurations are catalogued.

The B and B3 electronics cover positioning duty, with easy-to-operate focusing optics that set the working distance from 100 mm to 10,000 mm, or a customised fixed focus. Over temperature protection, an LED pre-failure indicator, reverse polarity and transient protection and a potential-free housing are integrated.

Green versions give up to 40 mW at 520 nm or 532 nm and red versions up to 120 mW between 635 and 685 nm, with fan angles from 10 to 90 degrees alongside dot and DOE optics. Supply is 5 to 30 VDC on a 4-pin M12 plug. The 20 mm aluminium body is 108 mm long with manual focus or 92 mm fixed and rated IP67 from -10 to +50 degrees C.
