ZR Module

Line length is the ZR's reason for existing. An asymmetrical line optic spreads the beam so that intensity stays close to constant along a long projection rather than falling away at the ends, which is what a textile table or a circular saw needs when the reference line has to cross a wide working area and be read at both extremes.

The rest of the module is deliberately plain. It is an entry-level fixed focus line laser for harsh environments, built into a powder-coated aluminium body of 200 mm by 40 mm diameter with a black anodized optic head, and the power supply is inside: a heavy duty wide range input taking 90 to 265 VAC with high immunity to interference, terminated in a standard, US or EU power plug.

Red output at 635 nm reaches up to 40 mW, run in APC mode with a current limiter and classified 1M or 2M depending on version. The housing is potential-free and rated IP65, with an operating range of -10 to +50 degrees C.
