Overview

About the ZXS-OEM

The ZXS is a structured light laser for triangulation sensors, built as a stainless steel optical head on a 100 mm cable with separate driver electronics of 34 by 33 mm. That puts the head where the optics need to be and the electronics wherever there is space. An OEM version fits customized electronics to an existing PCB.

Heads run from the 10 mm ZXS10, 40 mm long, to the 20 mm ZXS20 at 38 mm, or 98 mm in the focusable ZXS20-F. Robot alignment during automated production holds boresight error under 0.8 mrad typical, so beam quality is repeatable between units and a replacement heads needs no recalibration.

Line straightness stays remains 0.05 percent with uniformity under 25 percent, critical for triangulation profiles. Wavelengths range from 405 nm to 830 nm with output up to 200 mW, on 9 to 30 VDC for blue and green and 5 to 30 VDC for red and infrared. TTL modulation reaches 150 kHz with analog intensity control. Ingress Protection is IP 50 on the ZXS10 and IP 67 on the ZXS20.
