About the Chameleon XS RealSense™
The Chameleon XS is a protection housing for the Intel RealSense D415, D435 and D455 depth cameras used in robotics, logistics and bin picking. Separate window openings are machined for each camera's stereo pair and projector, so depth performance is unaffected by the enclosure.
At 150 x 64 x 34 mm and 500 g, the housing adds very little to a robot payload, and it adapts to the full autoVimation mounting kit range so it can be fitted to standard 30 and 40 mm extrusion. The USB cable feeds straight through the cable gland, keeping the camera's own cable and removing the need for a bulkhead connector.
Rated IP66 and IP67, it withstands jetting water and temporary immersion. The powder coated aluminium body comes in RAL 7001 light grey with BK7 windows, and the included camera mount conducts heat out of the sensor. The Chameleon XS range offers cable glands for 4 to 6.5 mm cable, dovetail profiles, a pressure equalising valve for outdoor use, and custom colours on request.
