About the Lizard
The Lizard is a protection housing with a front tube, built for cameras that need a long lens kept clear of the enclosure wall. The 41 mm tube gives direct access to the lens for focusing and iris adjustment, so a technician can set the optics without breaking the seal on the main body.
The Lizard takes cameras up to 40 x 40 mm in cross section and lenses up to 55 mm in diameter, with 191 mm of internal length to accommodate a camera and extension tubes together. The 66 x 66 x 206 mm body weighs 880 g, light enough for overhead and gantry mounting.
Rated IP66 and IP67, the Lizard stands up to jetting water and temporary immersion, and the included camera mount conducts heat into the anodised aluminium body. The Lizard range offers a 45 mm window in acrylic, BK7, sapphire or germanium out to 14 um, rear walls with cable gland apertures from 13.5 to 26.5 mm, plus heating and water cooling options.
