About the Nautilus
The Nautilus is a protection housing for cameras working offshore, in harbours and under water. A double EPDM seal on the front lid and rear wall carries the IP68 rating, and the enclosure has been tested for 12 hours at 10 m depth, so a camera can be left submerged between inspections.
The Nautilus takes cameras up to 61 x 61 mm in cross section and lenses up to 85 mm in diameter, with 172 mm of internal length for a camera and its optics. The aluminium body is extra anodised for salt and chlorine water, which holds off pitting in seawater and pool installations.
The 96 x 96 x 194 mm housing weighs 1400 g and carries a 65 mm window aperture. Cable entry uses a metal conduit tube system with a 15 mm inner diameter, sealing the cable run along with the camera. The Nautilus range offers BK7, acrylic and 3 inch germanium windows, sun roofs, heating and cooling modules, and mounting kits for fixed and pole installations.
