Shark

The Shark is a hygienic stainless steel housing for larger cameras on wash-down lines in food and pharmaceutical production. The electro-polished V4A AISI 316L body reaches IP69K with the hygiene cable gland fitted, holding out high-pressure hot water at the pressures used in daily cleaning.

The Shark takes cameras up to 62 x 62 mm in cross section and lenses up to 85 mm in diameter, in a 93 mm diameter cylinder whose smooth form leaves nowhere for product residue to sit. Clamping lengths from 84 to 204 mm hold long camera bodies along their length, keeping alignment under vibration, and the Meganova ring light fits the front so camera and illumination clean as one assembly.

Three lengths at 155, 205 and 275 mm weigh 1900 g to 3000 g. A 66 mm window aperture keeps a wide field clear. The Shark range offers FDA-compliant acrylic, coated acrylic, BK7 and germanium windows, M25 and M32 hygiene glands for cables from 15 to 25 mm, and the Hygienic Building Kit for a fully sealed cable run.
